New to San Carlos School District for the 2026–27 school year? Welcome!

Although school offices close for the summer beginning Friday, June 19, new student registration will remain available online through PowerSchool Enrollment. Please note that Brittan Acres, Heather, and White Oaks school offices closed on June 13 due to campus construction projects.

Register Early: Due to high demand and limited capacity, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 6th grade are nearing enrollment limits. Student placement is determined on a first-come, first-served basis once all required registration documents have been submitted and verified.

We encourage families to complete the registration process as soon as possible to maximize placement opportunities.

San Carlos School District wants to ensure that all students have access to nutritious meals and other food assistance during the summer months when school is not in session. We encourage families to consider the following resources available in San Mateo County.


Seamless Summer Option and Summer Food Service Program are two programs that provide meals without charge to all children ages 18 and under, regardless of income level, prior qualification, or district of residence. The Timberwolves competed in two major tournaments—bringing home incredible results from both the Bay Area Championship in San Jose (27 middle schools!) and the New Jersey Online Speech Festival with teams nationwide.
