San Carlos School District wants to ensure that all students have access to nutritious meals and other food assistance during the summer months when school is not in session. We encourage families to consider the following resources available in San Mateo County.


Seamless Summer Option and Summer Food Service Program are two programs that provide meals without charge to all children ages 18 and under, regardless of income level, prior qualification, or district of residence. Our Community Liaison Site is designed to be a central place where families can find information, resources, and support to help their children thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. On this site, you will find information about how we communicate with families, including parent communication protocols, upcoming events, and important dates. You’ll also find resources that support students’ social and emotional well-being, along with enrichment opportunities and programs offered through the District and our valued community partners.

Congratulations to Central Middle School and Tierra Linda Middle School on being named 2026 California Distinguished Schools! This prestigious honor recognizes schools across the state that demonstrate exceptional student achievement and outstanding educational practices.

The Timberwolves competed in two major tournaments—bringing home incredible results from both the Bay Area Championship in San Jose (27 middle schools!) and the New Jersey Online Speech Festival with teams nationwide.
