Health & Wellness Letter

Welcome back San Carlos families! I am Korah Guilar, the Interim Director of Wellness while Illana Yakubovich is out on maternity leave. I wanted to share a little intro about myself and also a parent back-to-school jitters/socialization document that I find helpful.

If you or your family should need any support, please reach out to me at [email protected] and check out our resources on the SCSD Health & Wellness page. Wishing you all a great year!

San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF)

THANK YOU to our generous donors and WELCOME to our new families.
Evening at TOWN event tickets go on sale THIS WEEK! Warriors’ tickets for 10/20 game

Your donations last school year to the San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF) will allow us to grant over $3.2 million to support every San Carlos public school student in this 2023-24 school year. Watch our video to learn why we have a nonprofit, parent-led Education Foundation in San Carlos. Thank you to everyone who contributed to SCEF last year.

SCEF event ticket sales are kicking off this week with TWO fan favorites up for grabs:
The annual Evening at TOWN is being held on Sunday, 10/1–a lovely evening of dinner, drinks and online auction–all benefiting San Carlos public schools. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 30th–get yours while they last!

Tickets for Golden State Warriors basketball, Friday, October 20th. You can attend the highly anticipated preseason game vs. San Antonio Spurs (and first round draft pick and French phenom Victor Wembanyama). Purchase WARRIORS GAME TICKETS–a portion of the proceeds benefit SCEF. And, for a special experience, we have secured 20 spots for the CHILD VIP HIGH-FIVE EXPERIENCE. Your kid on the floor at half-time, high-fiving their favorite players. Space is limited, restrictions apply.

Here’s to a great school year! Learn about the many Ways to Give and plan your donation today. Like the SCEF Facebook page for more upcoming details and news: https://www.facebook.com/SCEFkids
