Principal’s News

We begin Trimester 3 on Monday, March 6.  On February 11 & 12 the TL Debate team competed at Stanford. Congratulations to all our students and the the SPAR Champion,

 Amy Kim, grade 8. Debate

It has been fun to welcome students back after break. We encourage students to reach out and get to know one another, teachers, and staff.  This week we asked students to share something new that we may not know.  We learned we have an automotive enthusiast who loves muscle cars, rally cars, Formula 1 and wants to do something along these lines as a career.  Students are asking staff the same questions.  What are your favorite snacks and do you like sweet, salty or spicy? We do have some fans of 80s music. Some students could identify the music from Van Halen and Reo Speedwagon while listening to tunes at the assembly and lunch.

Student Intent to Return Forms for TK-7th Grade

Each year, we ask families for assistance in completing an Intent to Return Form regarding your child's enrollment for the next school year (2023-24). Please look for an email sent on Wednesday, Feb 15 with a link to complete your google form.

Your timely completion of this form will assist SCSD in having the most accurate numbers for returning students for next year, which is directly tied to the SCSD budget and will allow District staff to plan more effectively. Please fill out one form for each child by March 3, 2023.

If your plans change at any time and you are not planning to return next year, please notify your school office as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance with this important process.

The 8th grade tribute ads section will print in all Tierra Linda yearbooks and is separate from the free/included personalized pages. Tribute ads may be purchased and designed through April 15. Log onto TreeRing and find the "Celebrate with an Ad" section to make this optional purchase.
