October

3-7 Conferences, Minimum Day Schedule, Dismissal at 1pm

10 No School, Local Holiday

17 TLM PTA Meeting, 7pm

Conference week is Oct 3rd- 7th. Our goal with conferences is to make connections with families and learn about our students in order to best support them at school. Each day students dismiss at 1:00 pm. SamTrans does not adjust their schedule to provide an early bus.

This year we will have two types of conferences:

  • Teacher requested conferences (including 504 plan meetings): You will receive an email from your child's teacher.
  • Parent/Caregiver requested: are 8-10 minute student led group conferences. These conferences will highlight and celebrate student work and give you an insight into what your student is learning about this year. Please fill out this form by 5pm on Monday, September 26th, if you would like to request a conference.

October Dates Added to TL Lunch Help Sign-up!

It has made things much smoother and easier for both our hard-working lunch server and our students, and it would be wonderful if we could fill the October calendar with two helpers per day as well. Please sign up here to help. Thank you!

TLM Breakfast and Lunch Ordering Reminders

Meal Ordering
Please be sure to order meals by 9:00 am on the Tuesday before you need breakfast/lunch at TheLunchMaster . Or better yet, order ahead for the entire month, then set yourself a reminder for the following month!

Cancel A Week In Advance For Days Your Child May Not Need Meals, Such As Early Release Wednesdays and Conference Week
Please remember to cancel breakfast/lunch orders the week prior if your child is not going to eat a meal at school -- especially on early release Wednesdays and during Conference week when students are dismissed early.

Make Sure Your Child Is Picking Up Meals
As we work to fine tune the school nutrition program, please let your child know if you ordered breakfast or lunch, as it greatly improves our efforts to reduce food waste.

THANK YOU!
Many thanks to our fabulous food servers and the awesome volunteers that have stepped up to help serve in a more timely manner!
