Dear TL Families:
Welcome back to school Timberwolves! We look forward to meeting new students and greeting those we already know. It’s going to be an amazing year.
Kristen Ugrin starts year five as Principal. Charu Gulati starts year two as Assistant Principal after being a science teacher and Tierra Linda Environmental Club advisor for three years.
Here’s what you need to know to start the year:

19 Schedules will be sent to parent/caregiver email by 5:00 p.m.
21 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. 6th grade meet and greet, TL Quad
22 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 6th grade Orientation, TL Quad- Fill out this form
22 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Campus open so students and parents/caregivers can “walk their

23 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Teacher, staff, and principals are preparing to open school and
welcome students
24 First day of school: 0 period begins at 8:00 a.m. and first period begins at 8:40 a.m. and all
students dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
Bell Schedule
We have changed our start and end time, moving it by 5 minutes. Here is the bell schedule for the first week of school. The regular weekly bell schedule will be posted on the TL website next week.
Free Breakfast and Lunch
During the 2022-23 school year, the district is providing complimentary breakfast and lunch daily to all students. We have contracted with a NEW vendor, The LunchMaster, to provide the service this year. In order to receive breakfast or lunch, students must sign up and pre-order. We recommend giving your child input when ordering breakfast or lunch and having your child try the food for a few days before ordering monthly, so that we can be conscientious about food waste. Please follow steps 1-4 to create an account and get signed up:
- Register - Create an account by visiting the website: https://www.thelunchmaster.com/register
- School Code - Use your school's code to register for an account:

- Order Placement
- Meals can be ordered daily, weekly, or monthly, either online at www.eatnow.thelunchmaster.com or through the phone app, The LunchMaster
- Breakfast meals must be placed three days before meal service
- Lunch meals can be placed by 10:00am two days before meal service
- Distribution
- Meals will be distributed daily at your student's campus, breakfast at 8:20 a.m. and lunch during lunch at the time scheduled daily.

Meal Application
In addition to signing up for free meals, we ask that each family fill out the EZ Meal Application to benefit your family, school, and community even if you do not believe you will qualify based on your income. Completing this form helps your school receive more funding to support your child’s learning environment. The application is used to calculate school funding levels from the state and federal level. There is a communication that comes out weekly on Sunday evening and updates are posted on the homepage of the TL website.
