Art Show - May 10th

Everyone is welcome to join Ms Xavier and her 6th grade - 8th grade Studio Art Class as they exhibit an array of art from this school year in the Wolf Den (also know as the Learning Commons) from 5:00-6:30. We'll be serving light refreshments. Come and meet these features artists and ask them about their works of art.

Celebration of Learning - May 17 

Please join us as students act as guides for the evening from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.  Listen to your child(ren) share what they are learning in each subject area.  Be ready to do some investigation, problem solving, and maybe get moving with the PE department.
Our Choir concert is May 18 and Band/Orchestra concert on May 25.  It's going to be a month to showcase student learning and achievement.

2022-23 School Year Calendar Approved

The REVISED 2022-2023 Calendar has been approved by the Board. Changes in the calendar from the previously approved draft are the school start and end date, to August 24, 2022, and June 15, 2023, respectively. Download a paper copy on our SCSD Calendar page and/or subscribe.

TLM Book Fair is Coming May 3rd - 6th!

We are so excited to support our incredible library, and librarian Jamie Baxter, while giving Mariposa and Tierra Linda students the opportunity to find their latest favorite read!
Book Fair hours are:
  • Tuesday May 3rd - Thursday May 5th, before school, during lunch, and after school and Friday, May 6th, before school.
  • Shop online May 2nd - 15th.
  • Parents/caregivers are allowed to be on campus to shop before school from 8:00am - 8:30am and after school from 3:05pm - 3:30pm.  
Ways to pay:
  • Send your student(s) to school with cash.
  • The easiest way to shop is to sign up for ewallet so your student(s) can shop in-person and/or online with a pre-loaded account.

San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF)

SCEF, in support of San Carlos schools, has long been committed to nurturing the “whole child.” This includes all aspects of the child's well-being, including: social-emotional, physical, creative, and cognitive capacities, in pursuit of every child reaching their fullest potential.

Buy a Sunflower at Drop-off to Support Ukrainian Kids

On Thursday, April 28, Tierra Linda will be selling sunflowers to support the children of Ukraine. The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and a symbol of peace. The flowers will be sold for $5 each (cash only)
If you are unable to come, feel free to send your child with $5. All funds will be donated to Save the Children Ukraine. Thank you for your support.
