Halloween and Community Building at Tierra Linda

On October 28, we celebrated fall and Halloween with a costume contest, scavenger hunt and a surprise line dance and song performed by the TL staff.  Students were able to dance and created a conga line throughout the Quad at lunch time.  If you would like to view the video, click here: TL Mash.

Debate

Over the last two weeks in the Quad at lunch, TL 8th graders have taken interest in debate.  Elia and Bailey created their own arguments and had a debate on universal health care.  Last week Bailey debated Marina on the legalization of marijuana while students watched and cheered.
