August 23rd Weekly News

Principal's News

We had a smooth opening to school.  The highlight was to see a group of middle schoolers awaiting their first time back on the yard to play.  There was laughter and joy as students came back and settled into learning new routines at school.  We are practicing patience and it’s so great to back together again at school.  To kick off the year and help unite our school community, we are going to do a read aloud in Advisory class. Our first novel is The Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus by Dusti Bowling.  We look forward to sharing more about this journey as we meet Aven, an 8th grader who move to Arizona and is on a mission to make new friends and solve the mystery of her past.
