Dear 6th Grade Families:
The time has come for starting middle school. We are excited to launch the beginning of the school year as students return to full time in person learning.
Our middle schools in San Carlos have the WEB, Where Everybody Belongs, transition program which starts with an Orientation on August 16 from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Students should arrive by 8:30 a.m. in comfortable clothing and shoes. Transportation is provided for students who ride the SCSD bus. We are following all CA Department of Health Guidelines which means masks required indoors and masks optional outdoors.
The purpose of this event:
- Play, laugh and celebrate a return to school
- Connect with 8th grade WEB Leaders, 6th graders, teachers, and administrators
- Support and encourage students as they transition to middle school through small group activities including a campus tour
What to bring:
- Water bottle
- Mask
- Smile and positive energy
TL staff will receive students when they are dropped off by the curbside and direct them to the location they need to be on campus. We look forward to welcoming all of our 6th graders to the TL Wolf Pack!
