Charu Gulati, Principal
Charu has been a veteran middle school science educator and has served in various teacher leadership roles through her career that spans over 20 years. Her domestic and international teaching experiences have ingrained in her an appreciation for social, cultural, and geographic diversity. She is passionate about empowering and elevating youth voices to foster positive change for our planet. Charu is excited to step into the role of principal and looks forward to working collaboratively and serving the San Carlos community.
Ada Lee, Assistant Principal
Ms. Lee has 18+ years experience as an educator; the past two years, she served SCSD as a Teacher on Special Assignment for Curriculum & Instruction, and as the Principal of our Summer School program. She is a member of SCSD’s Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging Steering Committee, and served as co-lead of our Universal Pre-Kindergarten Task Force, helping to align our PK-3rd grades with early childhood education and TK teacher support. Prior to joining SCSD, Ms. Lee served as an Instructional Coach, as well as teaching 2nd-5th grade. In addition to her teaching and administrative credentials, Ms. Lee holds a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy.
